The "VIP Rivalry Cup" Presented by VIP Tires & Service was introduced in 2021 as a way to recognize the winner of the season series between two cities with a rich history of hockey rivalries! 

Any time the Worcester Railers and Maine Mariners play against each other is a VIP Tires & Service Rivalry Cup matchup. Whichever team wins the most Rivalry Cup matchups each season is crowned the winner!

2023-24 VIP RIVALRY CUP CHAMPIONS

Northeast rivals Worcester Railers and Maine Mariners faced each other 10 times during the 2023-24 regular season. The Railers were crowned the VIP Rivalry Cup champion during the final contest between the two teams on April 7th, 2024 at the DCU Center in Worcester, winning the series 6-3-1.
