What’s up everyone! Welcome back to another Community Express Community Recap! It was a busy week in the community. We had a lot of fun! We went to Tatnuck Elem., Hanover Insurance, Elm Park, Ecotarium, Clark Street Community School, and East Brookfield Elementary School. Wednesday, June 13 – Tatnuck Magnet School & Hanover Insurance
Early Wednesday morning, Trax and I visited Tatnuck Magnet School. We helped them celebrate the end of the academic year at their spree day! Later, Trax joined members of the Railers HC Front Office at Hanover Insurance for a Food Truck Festival!
Saturday, June 16 – Easter Seals 5k & Volleyball Tournament (Elm Park)
Connor Haynes, Trax, and I tabled at Elm Park Saturday morning. The Easter Seals managed a 5k and Volleyball tournament. We had a blast interacting with everyone.
Sunday, June 17 – Ecotarium Member Event
The Railers HC held their June Member Event at the Ecotarium on Sunday. Here, members could ride the train, meet our new assistant coach, and take photos with Trax!
Monday, June 18 – Clark Street Community School
Clark Street Community School was our next Spree Day stop. Trax led students in the Cha Cha Slide and busted a few Fortnite dance moves, which really got the students going crazy.
Tuesday, June 19 – East Brookfield Elementary
Yesterday, we traveled to East Brookfield to surprise students at their Spree Day. Trax got to race in obstacle courses, jump in bouncy houses, and play golf!
