Hello Railers HC! It’s that time again for the Community Express! We are one week closer to the start of the season. 10 days left…but who’s counting!? We have a preseason game this Friday at the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center! Be sure to watch this week’s episode of Tuesdays With Tom. He did a fantastic job recapping the start of training camp. Also, make sure to get your opening night tickets now! Call one of our ticket reps today at 508-365-1750!
Thursday, Sept. 28th – Oktoberfest / Charlton St. & West St. SchoolsTrax, Cody, Tym, and I went to Mercantile Center in Downtown Worcester last Thursday to celebrate Oktoberfest! We tabled the entire evening and met a ton of hockey fans! Trax arrived halfway through the event and immediately made everyone aware of his presence by dancing right in the middle of the crowd. We also appeared at two elementary schools in Southbridge that day. Trax surprised students during their lunch break.
Saturday, Sept. 30th – Teddy Bear Clinic / DCU Marlborough / Bridgeport Sound Tigers GameEarly Saturday morning, Trax and I drove to Marlborough’s DCU location to appear at their recycling event. We got to take photos with everyone at the bank as well as the generous people who were donating. Later that day, we squeaked in an appearance at the Ecotarium for their Teddy Bear Clinic before heading to the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers preseason game. Trax had the chance to hang out with Sonar from the Hartford Wolf Pack as well as Storm from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
