Railers announce home playoff dates at the DCU Center

Worcester, MA – The Worcester Railers Hockey Club (@RailersHC), proud ECHL (@ECHL) affiliate of the New York Islanders (@NYIslanders) announced today that they have clinched a spot in the 2018 Kelly Cup playoffs.  The first round of the 2018 Kelly Cup playoffs is presented by Energy Monster.

The Worcester Railers will either face the Manchester Monarchs or the Adirondack Thunder in the first round of the Kelly Cup playoffs presented by Energy Monster.  The first round is a best of seven series.  The Railers would host the following games at the DCU Center vs. the Monarchs or the Thunder:

Home Game A – Saturday, April 14 at 7:05pm

Home Game B – Sunday, April 15 at 5:05pm

Home Game C – Monday, April 23 at 7:05pm – if necessary

The complete schedule will be released later this weekend.

The first 1,000 fans at all home playoff games will receive a Railers HC rally towel presented by Energy Monster.  Fans can score $5 bud lights in the Bud Light Lounge at all home playoff games.  Family Fun Packs will be available for all home playoff games which include four tickets, four hot dogs, and four sodas for just $80.  Individual tickets start at just $15. The Worcester Railers were 16 points behind the Wheeling Nailers on January 25 and were in 6thplace in the North Division.  The Railers have posted a 21-7-1-2 record since, which includes a 15-2-1-0 record at the DCU Center.  Worcester has won a season high five straight games and now 10-1-1 in their last 12 games overall outscoring their opponents 31-16.

The Railers Tavern, located behind the DCU Center provides hockey fans with a great pregame and postgame atmosphere all season long.
