Bobby Orr and Derek Sanderson to drop first puck on Veteran’s Day Appreciation Night

Worcester, MA – The Worcester Railers Hockey Club (@RailersHC), proud ECHL (@ECHL) affiliate of the New York Islanders (@NYIslanders) announced today another BIG GAME SATURDAY promotion when the Railers host the Manchester Monarchs on Saturday, November 11 at 7:05pm on Veteran’s Day Appreciation Night.
Boston Bruins Legends Bobby Orr and Derek Sanderson will drop the ceremonial first puck presented by Rectrix Aviation. All veterans and current military members with a proper ID may purchase up to four tickets for just $11 each at the DCU Center Box Office. This is good for ALL price levels including normally priced $25 mid ice tickets for a savings of over 55%!
Throughout the game, the Railers will honor active military members and veterans. The Railers Foundation has already donated 250 tickets to local veterans and military families.
Davis Hill Elementary School of Holden will be singing the national anthem while The Worcester Men of Song will be performing God Bless America and have donated 100 tickets to Veterans Inc of Worcester. Any organization looking to join the Worcester Men of Song in pledging tickets on behalf of Veterans in Central Massachusetts can do so by giving the Railers a call today at 508-365-1750.
The Worcester Railers Booster Club will donate the proceeds of the 50/50 raffle to Veterans Inc of Worcester.
Tickets start at just $15 with puck drop vs. the Manchester Monarchs at 7:05pm with doors opening at the DCU Center at 6pm as the Railers conclude their five game homestand.
The Railers Tavern, located behind the DCU Center is now open and provides hockey fans with a great pregame and postgame atmosphere all season long.
