Worcester Railers HC Announce Head Athletic Trainer and Equipment Manager

Rob Tagle named Head Athletic Trainer, Jeremy Holloway Head Equipment Manager

Worcester, MA – The Worcester Railers Hockey Club (@RailersHC), proud ECHL (@ECHL) affiliate of the New York Islanders (@NYIslanders), and Railers HC General Manager and Head Coach Jamie Russell officially announced today that the club has hired Jeremy Holloway as the Head Equipment Manager and Rob Tagle as the Head Athletic Trainer.

Jeremy Holloway joins the Worcester Railers HC as the Head Equipment Manager after spending the last five seasons as the Head Equipment Manager for the now defunct Elmira Jackals (ECHL), which included two seasons under head coach Jamie Russell.

The Monroe Center, Illinois native brings over 10 years of experience of working as a hockey equipment manager, which includes positions with the Rockford Icehogs (AHL), Bloomington Prarie Thunder (IHL), and the Elmira Jackals (ECHL).

Holloway also served as the clubhouse manager for the Texas Airhogs (American Association) in 2016, and spent three seasons (2012-15) as the clubhouse manager for the Rockford Aviators (Frontier League).

Rob Tagle joins the Worcester Railers HC as Head Athletic Trainer after spending the last year as the athletic trainer for the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League.

The native of West Freehold, N.J. previously worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins. He has also held positions with the Philadelphia Soul (AFL), Saint Joseph’s University, and Cabrini College as an athletic training intern and at the TopSpeed Performance School as a strength coach.

Prior to receiving his Masters of Science degree in Athletic Training at East Stroudsburg University, Tagle originally attended school at UMass-Boston and graduated from Neumann University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training/Strength and Conditioning in 2015, where he was also a three-year defenseman with Knights lacrosse and a three-time honoree on the Colonial States Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.

The Railers are excited to add Jeremy and Rob as the final pieces to our hockey staff,” said Russell. “They both have a great deal of experience working in their respective positions, and will be an integral part of our success as a team.

The Worcester Railers Hockey Club, a proud member of the ECHL, will play their inaugural game at the DCU Center on Oct. 14, 2017 vs. the Manchester Monarchs. Full season memberships start at just $432 for 36 regular season games at the DCU Center and can be purchased by calling the Railers front office at 508-365-1750 or by visiting www.RailersHC.com.
