ECHL Announces 2017-18 Conference and Divisional Alignment

Worcester Railers HC joins North Division of the Eastern Conference

The Worcester Railers HC joins the Adirondack Thunder, Brampton Beast, Manchester Monarchs, Reading Royals, and Wheeling Nailers as members of the North Division of the Eastern Conference.

The South Division of the Eastern Conference will consist of the Atlanta Gladiators, Florida Everblades, Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Jacksonville IceMen, Norfolk Admirals, Orlando Solar Bears, and South Carolina Stingrays.

ECHL has confirmed that the first two rounds of the Kelly Cup Playoffs will be played entirely within the division, the division winners will then play the fourth-place finisher and the second-place team will play the third-place team in the Division Semifinals. The winners of each series will play in the Division Finals, leading to the Conference Finals and Kelly Cup Finals.
