Community Express: December 21, 2016

Hey Fans,

Community Jill here with your community updates.

Take a peek at events from the last two weeks…

Saturday, December 10th

TRAX was dashing through the snow at the Bay Path Pancake Breakfast. We ran into some of his friends including Jake from the Bravehearts, Santa Claus, and The Frozen cast Elsa and Ana.

Saturday, December 10th

TRAX traveled to Sterling for the Holiday Fair at Houghton Elementary School. We met up with a bunch of local vendors. If you haven’t finished your Christmas shopping be sure to shop local, Worcester is filled with small local stores like Worcester Wares.

TRAX shopped local and made me try a super spicy sauce from one of the booths without me knowing it was the hottest sauce they sold. Lets just say me and spicy don’t mix, my mouth was on fire, I felt like steam was coming out of my ears. I sent TRAX to the doghouse for the remainder of the day.

Monday, December 12th

All Railers HC Members were invited to join TRAX, myself and the rest of the Railers front office staff at Mezcal for our Member only Holiday Party. Everyone was able to meet Rene Rancourt, eat some food, and socialize with their new Railers hockey family. If you didn’t get the chance to meet Rene you are missing out he is quite the character. I am looking forward to seeing all the members again at our January member event! Word around the office is that ice might be involved… shhhh you didn’t hear it from me.

Wednesday, December 14th

TRAX rocked around the Christmas tree at Compass Tavern with the Friends of the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester at the Holiday Rock. Proceeds and toys from the event were to the Boys & Girls Club and Friendly House for the holidays.

NEXT STOP ON THE COMMUNITY EXPRESS :

Thursday, December 22nd -TRAX and the Railers Front office will be taking a field trip to visit five very deserving local Charities. Stay tuned to see how we are spreading holiday cheer throughout the Worcester community!

You can spread holiday cheer as well. Now through January 17th for every deposit you make the Railers Foundation will donate $200 in your name to the T&G Santa Fund.
