Jacqueline Avola

Operations Intern Spring 2017: Washington Capitals

Jaqueline joined the Railers as an Operations Intern in the Spring of 2017, then joining full time as a Corporate Fulfillment Coordinator ahead of the 2017-18 season, was promoted to Corporate Fulfillment and Game Operations Manager in October 2019, and once again was promoted to Director of Sponsorship Activations and Game Operations in July 2021.

 

After almost 6 seasons with the Railers, Jaqueline joined the Washington Capitals as their Manager of Game Operations ahead of the 2022-23 season, and has been there since then.

Broadcasting & Public Relations Intern 2021-22: Worcester Railers HC

Tim was a Broadcasting & Public Relations intern with the Railers for the 2021-22 season, where he assisted with the team's media and public relations efforts while contributing on air-content during railers broadcasts. 

 

At the conclusion of the 2021-22 season, Tim joined the team full time as the Broadcasting & Public Relations Coordinator, and has been with the organization since then.

Colby Gaugler

Ticket Sales Intern 2017-18: Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins

Colby was a Ticket Sales intern with the Worcester Railers during the 2017-18 season.

 

At the conclusion of the season, Colby began working with the Wichita Thunder of the ECHL in July 2018 as an Account Executive, then joining the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL in July 2021 as a Group Sales Account Executive, being promoted to Sr. Coordinator of Group Sales in August of 2024.

Operations Intern Spring 2016: Worcester Railers HC

Connor was one of the organization's first interns in the Spring of 2016, when he was hired as an Operations Intern to help plan and organize Fan Fest in April 2016, when the team's name and logo was unveiled.

 

Connor joined the team full time in April 2017 as a Ticket Account Executive of Group Sales & HC Memberships, and has been with the organization since then with multiple promotions. Connor was promoted to Senior Account Executive in January of 2019, promoted to Manager of Group Sales & HC Memberships in July of 2019, and was promoted to Director of Ticket Sales in July of 2021.

Lara Hill

Game Operations Intern Fall 2021: SoFi Stadium

Lara Hill was a Game Operations Intern during Fall 2021, assisting with setting up pre-game ceremonies and in-game sponsor activations, overseeing our Kids Club, and assisting with certain media needs.

 

Lara then joined the Seattle Mariners in January of 2022 as a Ballpark Operations Assistant, and has since worked with the Texas Rangers, and most recently joining SoFi Stadium as an Events Specialist in January of 2025.

Joe Kelly

Community Relations Intern 2017-18: NASCAR

Joe joined the Railers for the 2017-18 season as a Community Relations intern, assisting in scheduling and executing community events for the team and helping with sponsorship activations in-game.

 

Joe joined NASCAR Hall of Fame as a Guest Services Coordinator in June 2021, and then joined NASCAR as an Access and Production Coordinator in February 2022, being promoted to Licensing Manager in February 2025.

 

 

Mellissa Lafleur

Operations Intern 2017-18: Utica Comets

Mellissa was an Operations Intern with the Worcester Railers during the 2017-18 season, assisting in almost all aspects of the front office.

 

She joined the Railers full-time in October of 2018 as a Corporate Fulfillment Coordinator, and has since been with the Tucson Roadrunners, Greenville Swamp Rabbits, and most recently joining the Utica Comets in 2025 as their Corporate Sales and Fulfillment Coordinator.

Ticket Sales Intern Spring 2025: Cleveland Cavaliers

Jaidyn was a Ticket Sales intern with the Railers in Spring 2025, where she assisted with sales campaigns and supporting our ticket department staff. 

 

Jaidyn has now accepted a position in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Read more here!

Graphic Design Intern Fall 2022: Worcester Railers HC

Ben was a Graphic Design intern with the Railers for the Fall of the 2022-23 season, where he was in charge of all in-house graphic design, assisted with photography, and managing digital assets.

 

Ben joined the Railers full time as the team's first ever Creative Services Coordinator ahead of the 2023-24 season, and has been with the organization since then.
