Worcester Railers HC Announce Partnership with ArtReach Studio

The Worcester Railers HC, in partnership with People’s United Bank, is excited to launch the next phase of our community summer series. The team has partnered with local business ArtReach Studio to develop a fun and creative series of events to inspire young hockey fans and artists!

A Celebration of Art and Hockey

Show your Railers pride and learn something new! The Railers organization is excited to partner with ArtReach Studio to offer special kits that will include Railers coloring pages, crayons, tie-dye kits, and more! Over 200 kits will be distributed to youth organizations and camps throughout Worcester and the community. Take your kit home and follow along with us on Facebook as we live-stream art projects throughout the week of August 17th! See below for a schedule of events.

Railers HC Members and Kids Club members are eligible to receive art kits. Supplies are available to pick up free of charge at the Rail Shop in the Worcester Ice Center located at 112 Harding St. from 2-8pm starting Wed. August 12th while supplies last. Hockey Story Time in the Park

This event was originally scheduled for Wednesday, August 19 at 6pm but due to the rain it has been postponed. Stay tuned as we will be rescheduling. Live stream storytelling from Elm Park! Join Railers President Stephanie Ramey and TRAX for a fun evening of your favorite hockey books and some arts and crafts! One lucky raffle winner will go home with a Creative ART Party for 10 courtesy of ArtReach!

The Science of Hockey and the Goalie Mask Evolution

This STEM focused activity will teach students the science and math behind the game of hockey. In addition, Railers COO Mike Myers will showcase his hockey goalie mask collection and discuss the evolution of the goalie mask.
