Worcester Railers HC Team President Mike Myers to participate in 2018 Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port

Worcester Railers HC Team President Mike Myers will be participating in the 2018 Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port. He’ll join over 1,900 cyclists, runners, walkers, supporters, volunteers, celebrities, Best Buddies participants, and friend to help celebrate the mission of Best Buddies!

An avid cyclist, Myers will be biking 100 miles starting in Dorchester and finishing at Craigsville Beach.

Funds raised through the Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port, benefit Best Buddies International, the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Best Buddies programs empower the special abilities of people with IDD by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.

The Railers are proud to have partnered with Best Buddies last season, and especially to have the opportunity to work with Aaron Witt, a game night staff member, from the Best Buddies program. To learn more about Best Buddies please visit bestbuddies.org
