ECHL Cancels Remainder of the 2019-20 Season
By approval of the ECHL Board of Governors at the Special Meeting of March 14, 2020, the League and the PHPA have reached an agreement to terminate the 2019-20 Season, effective as of 11:59 PM on Monday, March 16th, 2020.
This affects the following Worcester Railers HC home games of the 2019-20 season:
March 13, March 15, March 18, March 21
April 3, April 4, April 5
Members, flex ticket holders, individual game ticket buyers, or any groups that had purchased tickets for the above dates are encouraged to read the information below in regards to refunds or credits to your account. We greatly appreciate your understanding during this unprecedented time.
What is the Railers ticket refund policy for Individual Game Buyers?
If you purchased tickets through Ticketmaster.com. No additional action is needed. Your refund will be automatically delivered to the same card used for purchase. Refunds should be received within 30 business days.

If you purchased your tickets through the DCU Center Box Office, and you used a card; no additional action is needed . Your refund will be automatically delivered to the same card used for purchase. If you purchased with cash, you will have to physically come to the Box Office for a refund. The Box Office is open Monday – Saturday, 10am- 5pm.
If you purchased outside of the DCU Center Box Office or Ticketmaster.com, you will have to reach out to the point of purchase.
I purchased tickets through a resale/ticket broker site. Will I receive a refund?
All tickets purchased through a resale (e.g. Vivid Sets, Ticket Network, Stub Hub, Seat Geek, etc) will be subject to the refund policy of the ticket marketplace. Please contact their customer service departments for more information.
What is the Railers ticket refund policy for Group Ticket Buyers?
All tickets purchased through a Railers representative for a group purchase will be honored for a game during the 2020-21 season. Each group will be contacted by a Railers representative to reschedule your event for the 2020-21 season (expected release of ECHL schedule in Summer 2020). Ticket holders that purchased a group ticket through FeVo will be contacted directly via email.
What happens with Full Season Ticket Plan Memberships for cancelled games?
Worcester Railers HC Members with Full Season Tickets will receive an account credit for all cancelled regular season home games that were in included in their 2019-20 ticket package.
2020-21 Payment Plan Accounts: An account credit will be applied to your 2020-21 unpaid balance. Account credits from canceled 2019-20 games will be added to accounts by April 15th.
2020-21 Paid in Full Accounts: An account credit can be used during the season for additional tickets to games or towards a suite or group purchase.
In addition, a charitable ticket fund has been created through the Worcester Railers HC Foundation. Contact the Railers to donate unused tickets or credits towards this program.
What happens with Flex Ticket Plans for cancelled games?
Worcester Railers HC Flex Plan holders and members will be able to use any unused voucher through December 31, 2020 for any Railers HC home game. This applies to both in-hand vouchers expiring April 5, 2020 and those electronically held at the Railers HC offices.
For Full Flex Season Members that renewed their 2020-21 package, vouchers will be extended to May 1, 2021.
How does this affect 2020-21 Season Ticket payments?
The Worcester Railers HC have taken the pre-emptive step of suspending all ticket payments until April 15th, at which time all ticket credits will be applied to unpaid balances. Please note that accounts were not charged monthly payments in March, as we understand the difficulty this current world situation has caused.
Ticket plan payments for the 2020-21 season will be continued to be processed starting April 15th.
Does this affect other Railers HC events?
Effective immediately, all Worcester Railers HC community events and Trax appearances are unfortunately canceled until further notice.
While our season has been unfortunately canceled, our staff is currently focused on responding and helping Railers fans with account/ticket questions and concerns. As you can imagine, this takes time, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
