Community Express, March 20

March 20, 2017

Hey Fans,

Community Jill checking back in with all things community.

If you haven’t checked out the video I posted with Head Coach Jamie Russell, check it out here. You will be seeing more and more of me in front of the camera as the season nears. If there is something you would like to know about the front office staff, please email me and maybe it will be featured in a video. Also, check out TRAX’s Facebook page to see the video of TRAX in the parade last Sunday.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

It didn’t feel like spring was ever going to come when the whole Railers crew marched in the Worcester parade on March 12th. TRAX and I warmed up by rollerblading the whole parade route about four times before the Railers Raptor filled with Jr. Sharks players (now the Worcester Jr. Railers) finished. We met so many fans along the parade route who couldn’t wait for puck drop, and I saw many familiar faces from my Worcester State Days in the crowd!

Huge shout out to the Boosters and the Jr. Sharks for joining in the festivities and helping hand out candy, pencils, keychains, and TRAX cards. It wouldn’t have been as successful without them!

Jr. Crusaders Learn to Skate

On March 18th TRAX wrapped up all the Jr. Learn to skate and learn to play programs with the Jr. Crusaders. We visited a total of ten different program this year and we can’t wait to add the Jr. Railers to the list in the new Worcester Ice Center!

Tuesday, March 21st– TRAX, Myers, Eric and myself are going to St. Peter-Marian High School to celebrate the Railers Foundation Donation for their Girls MIAA Hockey Team.

Friday, March 24th TRAX and I are visiting Glenwood Elementary School in Rutland to read for community reading day!

Saturday, March 25th I will be attending the Heart Ball at Mechanics Hall in support of the American Heart Association.
