Community Express: November 3, 2016

Worcester Railers HC fans,

Community Jill here, I don’t have my personal production crew yet but I might have something in the works for October 2017. Don’t miss out on all of the exciting things happening between now and then! Speaking of exciting things, the Founders Circle is filling up quickly we are currently at 863 Members. Also, I visited the Worcester Sports Center construction site yesterday and before we know it that will be built and Worcester will be the best hockey city around! With all of the local support we have received I believe Worcester is already the best hockey city!

Super TRAX made a grand entrance at Greendale YMCA Halloween Party on Friday, October 28. He led the costume brigade and even conquered the inflatable obstacle course. I won’t mention that I beat him in the race…. but I did finish it before him, even after I had to stop to catch my breath from laughing so much! Trips to the YMCA are always great experiences, I am already looking forward to our next visit with the kids.

On Saturday, October 29 TRAX took part in the Best Buddies Friendship Walk on the Worcester UMass Memorial Medical School Campus. The walk raised awareness and funds to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The walk also supported one-to-one friendships, leadership development, and integrated job opportunities for individuals with such disabilities.

Super TRAX made his last appearance of the year at the Worcester Common Fall Festival on Saturday, October 29. Everyones favorite membership executive (our only membership executive ) Tym and myself handed out candy to all of the Trick or’ Treaters. TRAX kept himself busy with a photo shoot on the steps of City Hall. All the kids joined him even the biggest kid of them all, Jake the Lion.
